01 / Context
Help with the things between appointments.
A ride, a follow-up or an update to family can take several calls and apps. Elda is being developed around older adults asking for everyday help by voice, with family kept informed on their terms.
02 / My contribution
My contribution.
- Lead customer discovery, including visits to care homes and conversations with older adults and caregivers.
- Test our software as the team develops the product.
- Help with recruiting at Anticipation Labs.
03 / The work ahead
Test the everyday experience.
We’re prototyping on Apple Watch while developing the bracelet. That gives us a way to work on the software while the physical product takes shape.
The goal is an older adult asking for help by voice, approving an action and choosing what their family sees. The public website describes the intended experience; the bracelet is not available yet.
04 / Result
Start with the people who will use it.
I’ve visited care homes and spoken with older adults and caregivers. I lead customer discovery and test our software as the team builds. Those responsibilities sit alongside my recruiting work as COO.
In development at Anticipation Labs.
Elda is our current focus. The public site is open for waitlist signups while we develop the bracelet and prototype the software. Anticipy is an earlier product from the same company; its connected-app and device work has a separate case study.
